My steering damper quit before I bought my R75/6 15+ years ago. I removed it and all the bits, but one day I should get a replacement damper and put it back on.

Not very difficult to do. Part$ are available both new & eBay. Not sure if the actual damper (piston thing) has a whole lot of dampening action, but when it's all on there and you turn the knob there is a difference so it must be working.

I went the Carpy route for my CB750 wheel tool. Total cost was $50 with shipping. It supposedly fits all CB750 SOHC models which seem to be the bane of my existence. I currently have three from 75-77. Also pictured is the rear brake stay bolt for an early 70s Ironhead Sportster. The other bane to my time on earth as I also have three of them from 73-79.

Bought a tool I've wanted for a while. A dynafile, it'll let me do slack belt sanding on smaller tubes. Found it on ebay for $80, which is a good deal since new they are around $700.
