Your FSM should have clutch spring specs...check 'em and see id they're still within spec.

Good call. I need to call our local cycle recycle shop and see if he has any on the shelf. That way if I do need them I can run across town :). Thanks Richard :)

Clutch Springs are cheap...any doubt, get some new ones....Stronger ones...

My 360 has heavy duty springs on the clutch. A little harder to pull in, bu the clutch NEVER slips.

Need to do the same to my 750....I can convince the stock springs to slip.

2 tanks for $60....Anyone know how to pick the lock on this CBR tank? sorry if there upside down i blame the ipod

There might be a number on the tank lock which would let Honda make a new key for it. YMMV but I know it can be done with ignitions (at least old CB ignitions).

i'll take a closer look didn't notice one...Tried all the keys i had around and a bobby pin...I may just cut it open tin can style since the tank is big and ugly anyway

Bring the tank to a locksmith. I had no keys for my RD400 tank. Locksmith cut me two new keys and it only cost me $10 and 10 minutes of my time.

It isn't. Its a 12v 3ah lithium battery made as an eight hour backup for specialty electronics in the industrial field. The R5 is kickstart only, with LED taillight, a headlight off switch and no signals. Should be good. Oh, amd the battery is made for rapid recharging so it should last. We shall see.

It was an EBay find, and ran me $23 and change shipped from asia.

And just a heads up for anyone trying to source A123 cells right now - just about everything available on eBay is a knockoff, as the company that was originally producing them is bankrupt. I spoke with the guy who sells them as motydesign.com and he's had to have a manufacturing contract set up in order to get cells to the right spec.

Better pic of the new BSA. Have some knock-off side covers coming that I am painting black as the red stood out too much. Looking at a different seat so as to preserve the stock one, dunno.
