I would be furious. Every time I flew in uniform I would have a knife on me. They never said anything about it in security. That was only a couple years ago. I also got to keep my damn boots on (that was nice).

I have carried Emersons for a long time. They have whats called a "wave feature," which deploys the knife the second it leaves your pocket. The little hook on the blade catches the back of your pocket. Amazingly simple and faster than any auto/switch/assisted. I currently carry a CQC-15 (along with a Glock 19, Kimber TLE II, or S&W .38).

You get that as soon as they print shipping label, probably won't be in the mail until Tuesday at earliest ;)
They printed the label the same day is still good. Some place take 2 or 3 days for that

Bought this yesterday for a carton of beer. A lot of work in it, first off is to free the stuck engine. Then on to the electrical problems which is why the PO put it aside for a later project

750 and a 77. Has "Borrani" rims with "made in Italy" stamped on them, from what I hear they are sort after. Everything needs a rebuild. No brakes and clutch is not to grippy.

A 77, huh? Might want to look into the history a little bit. There were plenty of 1977 GS750's sold, but they had dual disc brakes. The 1976 GS750 was almost identical except the single caliper up front. It doesn't make it valuable or anything (especially since there's no real way to differentiate between the two), but it's worth checking out. And if you haven't already, look around the GSResources for all sorts of info.

All GS's are DOHC. The major difference in GS motors are 2 valves per cylinder (GS) or 4 valves (GSX).

I am not home at the moment but I will check it out in the morning. Might be an early 77 which explains the single rotor. I have signed up at the GS resources and there is a heap of great info there.

Speaking on the knives, I have a SOG multi-tool that I enjoy. And also a SOG triton knife for camping and such, light, easy to grip, great blades. And for work on the ship I carry a Syderco ss H1 with the sheep foot blade so if you drop it there isn't a point to cut you. Also, aids in cutting things off skin and with the full serrated blade it cuts mooring, deck, etc lines even if it's been dulled.

Now as for latest purchase, since the removed skin from foot thread, I bought some legit riding boots. I normally rode with some cowboy boots as its the only thing I had at the time. But i just bought some Gearne Balance boots. They are for dual sport but they look like regular boots and everywhere you look praises the comfort and durability of this boot. Even the company says they are the most comfy and best built boot. Tip quality leather. And they are great for walking in too! I'll let yall know how they are. Got them from atomic moto. Oh and waterproof, weren't cheap but if they last me at least 4 years I'd say worth it.

Also some socks to go with them.

Lol! I guess if you think about it too hard. In reality it would be next to impossible. Riley's Ace Hardware in Grand Rapids usually stocks them (they had a lot of them before they got their new building a few years ago). I stopped in while I was home and they had a few. You should check one out if you're into knives.

According to Suzuki, 1977 was first year for GS750
The GS400 was launched at same time and 'motor' is still in production in GS500 twin
I'll see if I can find 'History of Suzuki'

Closed on my new shop yesterday.

Here's all that would fit in the frame. Behind the wall in the front, is a big room, going to be my spray room for gel coat. Then another big open area on the other side, just waiting on CNC's to be brought home.
