Sonic, I found running a big gas lens and nozzle helped me more then anything. I started by (and often time still do) holding the torch right at the nozzle. Its so fun until, the sum betch bites you. You will love that...lol

Ive wanted to get a TIG for a while...but its hard to justify the cost for the little bit of fabrication that I do.

Ive heard good reviews of that lil Eastwood one too. Cant wait to hear your take on it!

Thanks man I'm going to try a little bit of everything and see what works for me.
I am stupidly excited.

After a long search the last piece of the puzzle arrived to day. The building in earnest for Bonneville next year can commence. The FedEx man dropped off my Aisin AMR300 supercharger today.

Just got back from picking this up in Louisville. 2000 Ducati ST2 14,400 miles.

Enduralast 450 watt charging system for the new BMW. Also snagged the optical ignition for it as well, it's on the way.

Good get Kiley. Why the bump in wattage though? For safety reasons or are you adding some farkles?

It's for the heated grips/seat/windshield/jacket/etc so he can ride year round.
Studded tyres are on the way ;D
(don't listen to me, I'm making it up 8) )

I thought it was for the killer stereo he's tossing on that bitch?

PJ is more right on the money. Added in auxiliary lighting, the ability to add charging ports for cell phones, etc. maybe a set of heated grips. This is the do all bike and it also converts the stock bosche system from a brushed rotor to a brushless system. No wearable items in it so it's a lot more durable. Kind of one of those bikes that you can depend on far away from home.

Nice Kiley. You don't want to make that call 1000 miles from home. Dad, can you come get me and bring the truck. I had a bike I could rely on too until I ignored the signs it was eating it's head gaskets and left me 100 miles from home LOL.

Dont let the smoke out of em Kiley...ita a bitch to get that smoke back in haha!!!

Just picked up this xj600 for dirt cheep. Needs the suspension upgraded but I think it'll be a nice all around bike for next year. I can stop trying to fix this RD and just go ahead and push it off a cliff and send it back to hell where it was made.
