That G450X is enough of a workout- I can't walk for a few days after getting off of it- it is a beast. Problem is, I try to ride it like it's a little two stroker . . . plan to do some dual sport rides with it this spring.

Rich Ard, I HATE vintage bikes!

I have that hatchet and its pretty good for camping. It only weighs about a pound and a half with the sheath.

It seems nice. I saw an old Estwing sportsman just like this one at an antique mall today and I'm pretty sure the design hasn't changed.

Ok.....a set of gloves and a hatchet.....don't want to leave any finger prints, eh?

With that look on my face I can see how you may take it that way. Haha

Mine is probably forty years old and it's exactly the same.

My son and I have plated XR600R's. His is an '88 and mine is a '95. Incredible bikes. Nothing like doing the ton on a rough, sandy, gravel fire road....and then plonking along in 1st on a tight single track.
I dig the old dirt bikes man, Forget these new bikes the average joe cant even do a tune up Plus Old bikes got style!
My sister and I circa 1974 ;D

Plus, a lot of the big bore Dual sports have that "magic button". May be old school, but there is just something more visceral about having to kick over a big bore 4 stroke single.

Nah, so pleasing to press your thumb against the little black magic start button . . . ;D
Never trust batteries or buttons on a dirt bike its a good way to get stranded, Magnetos for me Put a boot on n kick that ol girl till she purrs!

If you are worried about getting stranded don't ride . . . haha, just joshin. I have never had a dirtbike with a start button and without a kick starter . . . kind of weird, but nice.

Can you say "top heavy?" If this thing fell over . . .

Had a DR350SE that was button only, no kick back-up. Always made sure to throw a battery tender in the gear bag on multi-day rides.

Used my buddy bender enough time to get my own and a bottom wheel kit for a up comming build
