Just picked up this and my brother is going to school me on beginner tips. Time to stop at the metal supermarket and get some scraps and start practicing. ;D

That's a major improvement then
People I knew with the originals always complained how much wind noise there was and how drafty they were.
Running joke about Bell helmets at the time - because of the big fan on top ('Bell' helicopters ;D )
Went for a trip to Arizona and checked out a swap meet. I picked up some stuff for a pretty good deal.
XS Header, seat springs, a tank, fender, some switches and a bunch of other stuff. it all went home in the luggage. All said and done 140.00 well spent!
That is pretty interesting. For a project I'm working on I've been thinking about a remote tank lower than the carbs so need a pump. How do you pick a psi and how do you prevent overflowing bowls?
Tim, low pressure pump. senses amp draw and shuts off when pressure is reached (it will keep cycling on and off but that's a good thing)
You can probably use as much as 7psi
Flow rate may be more important with a piston pump, if too high it could fill float chambers and flood before shutting down
And I picked these up last night. Anyone know why they have an "F" stamped in them? It looks like it was done after the other stamps. It is deeper than the rest.
I have bought and sold stuff for as long as I can remember, and have always been able to find a good deal.
I do LOTS and LOTS of research to find things for the right price. And I actually come across WAY more good deals than I can afford to buy, otherwise I would have 4 times as many bikes/parts.
I also scout for friends of mine, since I can't take advantage of every deal I come across, I pass it on. I am getting my friend a nice YZ465 for $650.
So if your looking for something, and I can help I will.
I mean I literally check Craigslist 10 times daily sometimes more and I could not hope to come across as many bikes as you do haha.
Maybe it's because of location
