This isn't a purchase, exactly, but picked up the hub, bearing spacer and speedo drive for the CB77 front brake, that will be going on my XS650 cafe racer, from the machine shop last week. That's a 17mm Yamaha axle fitting where only a 15mm axle fit before. 8)
Just for shits and giggles, here it is hanging on the bike. Lotsa sanding/polishing in my future now.
This reminds me of a line from Jonathan Lethem's "Gun, With Occasional Music", in which a character opens a cabinet to see if there are any bottles with booze left in them, and it's pointed out that only a man with a drinking problem isn't sure whether or not there's anything on the shelf.
