I saw some cafe's @ laguna seca and cannery Row

Now did anyone find any more examples?

I know this isn't a Custom tank, but it is one of my favorite DOHC conversions, perhaps even more so than RaceKatz's masterpiece!

Newman's killer build...

Some shop called Race Katz built this incredible bike. I don't quite know how to classify it? Cruiser, chopper, bar hopper, etc.?

This is really a great lookign version. But may send me over my budget. I really need to see one with a "C" tank

but wow this does look good and my tank already had so much work done to it already.

No doubt! Both these builds, Newman's extensive machining on the hubs (with lathe), and Race Katz's bodywork, must have taken a butt load of man-hours (and considerable green)! Plus, they both have custom exhausts. But, those two are my faves (DOHC) and I have them in a folder of cafe conversions. I forgot to mention, Newman's bike is a CB900 though it looks just like a '79-'82 CB750. Don't you just dig the V-Rod headlight??? 8)

From my folder. Again, not a Custom, but a DOHC. Honestly, I haven't seen any Customs that have been converted, though I'm sure they're out there.

Unluckily for me my tank and frame are different that those of the "K"

Carpy sent me that picture yesterday. maybe I take a hammer to the top of my tank and make it flat.
