I'm Herbert, resident of the Netherlands.
I'm building a cafe racer based on a CB650 sohc.
What I ran into recently is after installing a PowerArc ignition with multiple spark, I can't get the tach signal to communicate with the motoscope pro.
If I use the PA's tach pulse wire, which provides 1 pulse per rotation, the tach doesn't react.
If I use the motogadget's induction signal pickup, I get 3 pulses per rotation because of the multispark.
If I connect the PA's pulse wire to a different tach, that of a zxr400, that works (so the signal does its job).
I know I can set the amount of pulses for the tach with the motoscope's engine input setting. I just can't get the correct setting.
Anyone that also has these two premium brands working together, please, I could use all the help. Any ideas?
