Wanted to go with an internal twist clutch originally but ended up going with a inverted lever. It'll do. Going to Motion Pro next week to get a custom clutch cable made with a inline adjuster.

yep. Need that.

have been waiting to see some new pics for this build........personally I wouldn't put a rear cowl on it

Sweet ride dude

Try a rear hugger and leave the seat to float above. Might be better than the cowl.

I was trying to do something different and keep the seat/mono shock. Else my bike would like this.

That cowl looks sweet, I say go for it! Your track record speaks for itself, you obviously have better visions for this stuff than most of us, haha. Serve up some humble pie again :)

I think it subtracts from the Boardtracker style, turns it more into a show chopper. The close hugging fender held on by a sissy bar style mount would suit. But that is just my opinion and as Alive said you seem to have awesome visions of what you want.
Keep on impressing us!

Maybe take your cardboard template and incorporate the radius of the tire? I'm sure what ever you come up with will look amazing as usual

Thanks guys for the feedback. I'm still up in the air with the cowl/tank setup right now. I'll have more updates soon. Big plans for the motor as well for this bike. stay tuned!

Thanks man! I'll play around with it some more.

Still playing with ideas. Photochop mockup of a front cowl to match the lines of the rear.

Well that I like now. Takes the bike to a whole diffrent place, but very cool.

Thanks man! As soon as I'm done with my triumph pictured below, full steam ahead on this xs again. In the meantime I'll keep thinking about the fairing and rear cowl.

That front fairing changes the whole character of the bike, I like it. It'd be really cool to make the fairing and cowl be easily removed for two completely different looks so you can change things up when ever you like with little hassle. Can't wait to see how this all works out. Sweet build and keep up the great work!

Can't say I like the fairing. It's a bit like putting DRS on a tractor.

You want to see the engine and frame on a bike like that - not try and hide it.
