Hey guys. Just decided to document my build of a cb350. I didn't with my nighthawk bobber....so I decided to this time! Well here is how I bought her, but I want to make some changes.
I am thinking about doing a battery and electric starter delete, then slimming up the wiring harness. Since I still want to keep my blinkers, I am getting headlights and tail lights that have blinkers in them for a more streamlined look. I decided to go with a brat seat that would be able to fit two people, even though I don't plan on riding double that often on this bike. I just want it with the convenience. The right pipe is rusted out and I haven't decided what exhaust system I want to go with. If I can find just one stock pipe I may go with that but they do actually weigh a lot. My other thought was going with a smaller megaphone type design, but since I am doing this on a college budget I done know if that is within my budget build.
I have already swapped the fuel lines over to clear and put some inline filters in them. The petcock needs to be changed and the tank needs the surface rust removed and the inside lined. Those are the current goals right now. I will keep you updated with pictures and information as my build progresses.
