Many thanks gents!

If anyone finds themselves in OKC in need of some good food, check out Cafe NOVA (http://www.cafenovaokc.com/) on Western Ave. It's the resturant my brother co-owns and runs.

They sell art in the resturant, and he is having a photographer take some cool pics of the bike in the front of the resturant. I'm excited to see those. I told him he should roll it inside an put it in front of the main window, but it would break all sorts of codes. :) Chris, thats one helluva nice bike, and one very cool thing building it for your brother. i built my (then 16 year old) brother a 350f back in 1980,it ruined him for life! he still rides every day and loves all types of bikes. Has you dad ever ridin the cafes? i finally got my 70 year old dad to ride mine this year.he loved it! hes a die-hard sporster nut,and still rides a 1200 evo custom job that i built him three years ago. Kudos on the build,he will never forget what you have done. and what you have done to perpetuate the sport and the style.

That's awesome, excellent job Chris. Nice pic's.
I love the wrapped pipes, I just did my GSXR1100 headers in black wrap and may do the ZRX, eventually I'll do the 350.
Cafe Nova is a real cool looking resturant, very nice place.
By the way where's all the snow?!? Joking. We just got dumped on...no riding this week.

Great job,the bike looks awesome. Post up some more stills of your bike and his with a side profile please!
Your brother is very lucky to have a brother like you and cares enough about him to put the time and energy it took to build that bike and then just give it to him. 8)

When I get my bike done I'm going to have to get a couple of photographers I know to shoot some pics. They could get a much better shots than I ever could.

I'm building an old roadster/GP/Indy style car(old Datsun/Nissan eng/truck chassis) but mine will only LOOK like an old race car not actually BE a race car like yours. It will run,go and stop better than a Datsun pick-up truck, but that is basically what it will be under the sheet metal.

Many thanks gents. It's been riding weather in TX for quite a while now...

I am going to work on better pics of that bike. We're going to have a professional photographer and a model do the work. Right now, it's a scheduling issue.

Can you send some pics of that car you're building? Before I built my se7en, I actually got quite far with an old front engineed GP-syle car using a 5-valve 4AGE. I'd love to see what you did.

Sometimes, Texas is definitely great. Of course, then you get to around July and August where it's 105 degrees and 85% humidity. Not as much fun then. I still ride though. :D

Again, Chris, great job on the bike.

I haven't done hardly anything yet to the truck/car other than strip it down to the bare rolling chassis, pull engine trans from the donor truck(bad frame),but I'll post up pics when I do. The way I'm doing the engine/trans(farther back and lower) I will have to deep-six the torsion set up and run VW coil overs all around and run a H.D. VW sand/street rail rack for the steering. It should handle much better and weigh quite a bit less than a stock truck.

I have WAY too many projects on my plate right now to even start on the Datsun. I have at least 2 dirt(XR80/TS185),1 track bike(Hodaka),1 Harley 883 pro-street style chopper and 1 vintage boat to finish plus finish fixing up my garage before I can even begin to work on the Datsun.

I will say it will be along the lines of my Hodaka and my Vintage 15' Lone Star aluminum runabout boat(very cool) in that it will have a um...unpolished,rode hard and put away wet look to it. The boat though will be a little nicer as I want to give it nice paint job(white w/red stripe down center) and new interior.

I plan to pull my boat/bikes around with the converted Datsun as well. I can't image the looks I'll be getting on the road, but it will be fun to have a vehicle no one else has and it will still be functional as a tow vehicle for my other vintage toys. Plus with gas prices I should get good mileage out of the little four banger!

The front engine car sounds cool. I did some research on some of the old front engine Indy cars and such. Pretty neat cars and in the dirt or for old style rally cross country races I could see them being competitive. I have thought about building a vintage style Indy/GP type car out of a small four wheel drive truck such a a Datsun/Toyota/Nissan etc.. We have gravel roads out the ass where I live and a vehicle like that would be lots of fun and to also drive around when the roads are covered in a foot of snow!

That's my sister!! Just kidding. They're just some girls my brother knows. I think he kinda dates the hot one's older sister. I need to gather them up again and do another photoshoot because the photographer forgot to get the bike in shots.

Thanks for the compliments on the pipes. Those pipes are currently hacked to pieces right now and on my CB350. I need to get a bullet camera for my race car. When I do, I can take some really cool videos.

--Thanks, Chris

Which one is the hot one, I can't decide.

You'll have to trust me: I don't exactly have a bad thing going at home myself...
