Looks awesome, can't wait for night pics of that rolling down the highway. People are going to be WTF?

Great work guys

Nice Joe, you got to rock that to the WV GTG, I would love to see it and we could park it by the fire for tunes ;D, awsome idea on the lit bags. When you roll into a campsite or motel at night you can see what you need. Really well done.

man I love it... I still think you guys need to smoke the amber turn signals on the fairing, but other than that, I think this is the nicest full fairing 80's G wing I have ever seen. I really don't like the fairings normally, but dang... beautiful!

Awesome job Joes

need some help! ok.... so we got the valves done, bled the front brakes, that is all done... the carbs where worked over durring the build stages by, i think his name was "honda guy" or something like that... he rebuilt them and had them set to stock stage so that we coud synce them... well we had to fight the bike to get her started, now that she is running even with the idol screws backed all the way down it still is idoling at 3500 - 4000 RPMS's... any ideas? ill be honest, i do not know much about this carb system... but we have fuel, spart, the choke cable is not tight, the throttle cable seems to be completely seated so it is not pulling on the carbs idol... just can not figure it out... i got to get the idol down a bit so that i can sync the carbs... any ideas? we are so so so close to riding this sucker and my brother is PUMPED!!!! i just want to help him get it on the road so we can roll!

here is another vid

If they are a twin cable system, it's often best to start off by removing the return cable and get the OPEN cable right first and make sure that the butterflies are completely closed.

If the idle is still high, then check for air leaks and for the linkages between sides.

ha love the drunk vid. It's like lets all gather around in my garage drink and listen to some dance music through my Goldwing's lights and Dj system.

had a carb piston stuck up, was able to get at it and break it loose through the intake... but did nto find it till like 2am so we did not ride it... will tke her out tonight

carb issue fixed! well for the most part, the right pipe still smokes a bit and i am not sure if that is old paint, oil, gas spill, or what... put 35 miles on her, carbs are synced, carb piston is cleaned and moving freely... just got to swap master cylinders (the one on there is leaking like crazy) rather than put in a rebuild we are just going to grab one of the others off the shelve and toss it in. here is a shot of it after my brother rode by my house, sounds awesome, looks awesome, and he is happy as hell... awesome!
we will get some day pics as soon as this rain passes over, to pumped to ride last night than take pics!

SHE IS ON THE ROAD! put 40 miles on it last night, was awesome how many people went nuts over the bike. the back up camera is on point! the thing looks insane on the road with all the LED's, the HID and the LED fog lights put out an insane amount of light, stereo just screams, bike sounds great!

got 2 gremlins to work out, one is in the throttle : does not snap back, has a very bad spike when you get on the throttle
the other is the exhaust: when we fire it up it blows some smoke out the one pipe... but after we dial that in she is good to go!

Hey Joe, the smoke from the left/sidestand side pipe and only for the first little bit after startup? If so it is normal. There is a slight amount of oil that will get in the cylinders on that side when the bike is parked on the sidestand and it burns off the first few minutes of startup. Mine does it but after 2500 miles it hasn't used any oil so it is microscopic in the amount. The guys on NGWclub told me this when I asked the same question.

that is the plan for this week... it was the weeknd of my anivsary and my brother was on a all weekend guys trip so not much was done... but we will get some up of the bike ASAP, next stop, SHOW AND SHINE!!!

well a good plume of smoke billowed out of the exhaust when we would fire it up at the end of the season last year... so finally my bro and i got around to popping in a new head gasket... while we had her open we replaced the belts and all the gaskets for the cooling system as well... no more smokey smokey from the green wing!
