Once again nice bike. I see harbor freight bit you hard too. I was wondering what you got going on in the buckets. I thought at first it was electrolosis but now i'm wondering if it isn't a plating process. Keep it up and please post some more pics
Its actually not electrolisis, it IS plating. I'm replating all the bits with a zinc coating, just like when you buy new nuts and bolts. I'm using this set-up: http://www.caswellplating.com/kits/zinc.htm
all my cleaning was done in a parts washer and then a quick hit with a wire wheel on my grinder.
I have actually done the electrolisis method for rust removal, but I don't find it very practicle at all. takes way to long to get the part clean. Now-a-days there are plenty of other methods that are much faster and just as, if not more so effective.
