So those are different bars aren't they? I've ordered up a set of Front Street Cycle fenders and am deciding on bars. The curved set you showed before mounted to the stock bushings - they are 2 separate pieces? I would have thought being mounted in the rubber bushings on their own wouldn't be rigid enough and that they'd twist in the mounts.
Just tried on clip-ons from my other build. The front street bars are threaded on both sides so they can be mounted over or under the top tree. Here is a pic I just took. Let me know if you want a specific side
It was the join between the bars I couldn't see - I was wondering how they kept from pivoting. I'm not sure I want bars I can't fine tune the angles on, so might go with a similar shape in a 1" bar to mount in traditional risers, so I can angle them up or down a bit.
These aren't adjustable as they don't use the clamps. The screws mount threw the bushings and into the the thread of the bars. I'll post better pictures when I get home
Loving how you're sketching revised mockups, I'm currently studying Industrial Design and I am all for this. Great work man, I'll definitely be doing this when I start my build thread. Lot of inspiration here!
Thanks man! This process is really helping me out to see how parts mesh and flow with the lines of the bike before I go spend $$!
I'll be looking out for your build thread
