Just about perfect. Really rad man. I cant find anything about it that looks out of place. Bet it sounds great too.
Ive been on the hunt for a flattie motor to rebuild for years. The prices are RETARDED.

Wow, thats damn kind of ya to say, thank you.

Theres a lot im not keen on and will be changing, but one could argue it's more to suit my tastes and needs over necessity and such, however i do feel it will improve the bike.

Issues:

-Bar's too narrow hit the tank, going with a wider set with a slight kickback
-Inbar throttle, just not feeling it
-Suicide shift and original foot clutch, as effin cool as it is im changing to hand clutch and pass side shift, i do alot of miles and just know it'll add to it's enjoyability factor. (which means custom forward controls n such woot!)
-wiring, adding hidden LED turns and switch....totally reduces cool factor but totally increases safe factor
-wrap exhaust/change exhaust maybe.

...and of course anything else i get my hands on lol

I'll be riding down and visiting Paulie @ Back Alley tons, so if yer in the area stop by n we'll chew the fat

Unreal flatty! And I must say you're typing reads like a raspy old blues man talks...and I mean that in the best possible way. Rockon indeed!

LoL ive dun been called many things in my life, but i gotta tell ya that takes the muffin....thanks you for that. N yeah i love me some blues.

thanks guys, seat was bolted to the ol gal upon purchase, ill be sneaking a gel insert into it and recovering it b4 any long riding. Looks to be a custom pan, quick n easy.

Oh forgot to ask this earlier, its a little off-topic so please do excuse me...

I love the front end suspension you've got there, now I've never ridden a bike that's got a set up like yours. I have seen them around a fair few times though. Do you think it would be hard to make a set up like that? Is it worth it?

Can't wait to see her when she's done, looks brilliant!

It's called a "springer" front end, Harley has been producing it for many many years. Riding with a springer is an acquired taste and i would not say it's "performance oriented" lol

You could manufacture one, but there are a number of used springer front ends out there and aftermarket companies such as DNA have reproduced it and are selling it in mass as well, i have a 2 over DNA spring here with billet and it seems very stout.
