I guess this is a good spot to post this.
My awesome wife Kelly passed the MSF Basic Rider Course, on the first weekend of this month. 8) She only missed one question on the written, and two points on the range. The U-turn box was problematic as she was on a Rebel, and the bars hit her knee. :p

After 23 years of marriage, she still surprises and impresses me. ;D

Yay for Kelly! So she will be riding along with you at Barber this/next year? I think I saw you can't make it this year. Congrats and I hope to someday make the same post about Jill.

Cheers,

Yes next year, unfortunately we can't make Barbers this year. But next year we will both be rollin' in style. 8)
She is friends with several girls from work who ride, and after two trips to Barber, she couldn't resist. ;D

Tell the missus Congrats :D

I bought a Rebel and taught my wife to ride also. Then right after she was comfortable riding it, I took it apart to do some minor mods.
That was almost two years ago. The wife is still nagging me.

Moral of the story... Don't take the wifes bike apart if she's already happy with it ;)

Kelly had her first two-stroke experience this evening. 8)

Our kick-start, two-stroke, carburated, 350cc bike, was a bit different than the electric-start, fuel-injected, four-stroke, 250cc bike that she rode at the BRC.

She had a little problem with her take offs. But after she got the hang of the two-stoke power band, she did great.
Her slow turns are better than mine. :-[

Kick starting.......well that's going to need some practice. ;D
