Possibly buying a bike for the Mrs. and found a 79 cb650 locally. Its been sitting a few years and the guy says some gas was left in the tank during that time but the bike ran when it went into storage. He thinks the carbs may need to be flushed and synced, are those things hard to do and should I get a professional to do them? Ill post the craigslist link, could you please give me an idea of what a good price would be and if this bike is worth it? I already know what I would offer im more or less looking for a second opinion. Thanks!

That's a nice bike for $800. The carbs are relatively easy to do if you are a mechanically inclined guy. The pluses for this bike are the frame has a flat underseat area so cafe style solo seats look right on it and it has the mechanical carbs which are easier to tune for performance mods.

I would rather have this bike than the 82' I got with CV carbs and the dipped seat rails.
