Questions re. tire choice around streetcar tracks

I'm starting to think about tires for my '73 CB450 project, and I have some questions for those of you who have experience riding around streetcar tracks, specifically in Toronto.

For now I'm going with a 19" front drum from a CL450, and trying to decide between a Speedmaster (or probably a Duro HF317), a Duro HF308 (Pirelli MT53 copy), and a Dunlop K70, all in 3.5". Quality between brands aside, do you guys think there will be a difference in handling over streetcar tracks between the relatively slick Speedmaster style tire and the slightly more aggressive K70 or MT53 profile?

Less importantly, there is currently a trial tire on the rear. I like the look, but how will that handle over the tracks? I do see plenty of people riding around on dual-sport bikes with similar tires.

Assuming they are similar to railroad tracks, if it's been raining, won't make any difference, you hit them at wrong angle and you fall off
In the dry, Speedmaster may follow the lines more than a K70 but it's at least36 yrs since I used either.
