Quieting a CB550

I've had neighbors give me shit about how loud my bike is, and I want to quiet my empty megaphone mufflers. The attention from the cops isn't that fun also. Has anyone modded their bike, or created a baffle and willing to give me some insight? I know a stock exhaust would be quieter...just costs an arm and leg.

They make baffling that you can put in for this, i think DCC has some you can buy. I've never done it though, just happened across some exhaust baffling that maybe would work.

Maybe some used pipes would be easier to get your hands on?
