I have put the idea on hold for now and not really pursued it. It is still a possibility in the future, but for now I plan to leave it about like it is.

Heres what I have for an xs650 in my magic box of parts... ;D



Hmm.. looks like brackets speciically for an xs650, gsxr shiter & 02 R3 Brake side...
Same basic idea from this thread except using brackets rather than the pass.peg moung:
