Raask Rearsets on a W650

I have a question for you guys concerning the Raask Rearsets. I just bought a 2000 kawasaki w650 that had them already installed but the rear brake is KILLING me. In order to get it set so that the pedal is in a usable position to activate the break, the resting position of the pedal, ie when its not in use, is super high up.

It seems like there should be a stop, like on the stock brakes, so that you can preload the pedal and get it close to the "engagement" point without having to have it travel the entire distance. Does that make sense? I guess what I am asking is, how do you get it to stop so it doesnt just keep shooting up?

how much travel does the pedal have?

either you can shorten the distance between the pedal and the cam
or lengthen the distance between the cam and rear brake

make sense?
clear as mud?

Kind of makes sense. I got it a little better but still not what I like. I guess it's just a lot of fine tuning to get the position of the cam and the length of the connector rod to be just right. I shall keep fiddling away.

Thanks!

A stop could be made to limit the return of the frame link (to put the pedal where it is comfortable). It looks like a bolt could be mounted to the rearset mount(under/behind the frame link) to limit the return height of the pedal.
