Racing in Chicago

Ive been checking some of the Vintage Motorcycle racing sites and have not seen any schedules for racing in Chicago. Does anyone in here know of any tracks where they let amateurs in?

not sure about vintage bikes... but our shop does a ton of work with Racer Cafe in St charles. Rob and Eric up there are great guys!!!

Around Chicago are

Road America 3 hours north
Gingerman near South haven
Grattan raceway near Grand Rapids
Putman Park near Indy
Blackhawk farms near Beloit

All have track days for amateurs and some run Vintage track days.

If you have never been on a Track, mark your diary for late March Early April for the Team Chicago FREE Race school at Grattan. It's run by racer Dan Schmitt and has classes form fast racers to street guys on street bikes.
