Been Around the Block
It's an XS360 and i got it running great yesterday. I could kick it once and it would start right up and run great.
Got home today, kicked it twice maybe and it started right up and ran great. Let it idle a while, turned it off and
put my headlight back in so i could go ride it afterwards. My bad luck friend came over and then after that it wouldn't
start whatsoever. I did all of the same things I had done the past times i had started it. Sprayed a little carb cleaner in
the carbs and it starts and instantly dies.
Thought it might be flooded so i drained the bowls, refilled them and still nothing. The fact that it starts with the carb
cleaner but won't stay running makes me think it's a lean issue but how is that happening? Brand new petcock, fuel lines,
new gas, etc. Not to mention, it ran yesterday like a champ! Now nothing...So what do i do? Ban my friend from ever being
around the bike with his bad luck?

You reinstalled the headlight. Look at the wiring. Carb cleaner doesnt need much spark at all to ignite. Way less than gasoline.

yeah...i wonder if something got weird in there, it is kinda all jammed up in there haha. Has anyone tucked their harness elsewhere other than the bucket? like under the tank or something?

I just replaced pretty much everything on the bike and was excited when it started right up. Guess i need to take a close look and see what's going on. I just replaced the coils, wires, plugs, wiring harness,
condenser, rectifier, fuse box...pretty much everything is new. Battery and turn signals and brake lights were done when i first got it but all of the other stuff is recent.

On a side not, i wired my turn signals up and whenever i try to turn them on either left or right, it blows the fuse. I wired up LED indicator lights on a little plate but they said they have build in resistors.
I also bought a new flasher relay as well. Could it be the left switch that is messed up and causing this? The signals are not LED, only the indicator lights. My neutral indicator led doesn't work either though
so it's probably something that has to do with that.
