I did quite a bit of searching around the internet and came up empty handed. I recently purchased a bike (that was pretty beat) but happened to notice that the exhaust pipe was still is pretty good condition for being over 30 years old. Ive come to the conclusion that it is an RC Engineering 4 into 1 ...
Any insight on availability? What one in good shape would cost to replace?
Through my research I have round that RC Engineering was a sought after exhaust system back in the day and gave myself a little history lesson while i was searching around.
Insight into what?
What bike?
There were at least three sohc RC pipes.
They are a true performance part and not a rotten noise maker like a jardine or Mac.
If you look around you can find them. My buddy has a near NOs set up. Not something that is still being made.

It's your standard used part.
Not something that was hard to get back in the day. What I mean is that it wasn't like they made 50 and a million people wanted them. Every person that wanted one was able to get one. They were priced in the same ball park as other pipes in the time.
Now they sell for some where between $100 and $300.
Not really a big dollar part that is something to go crazy about. Prices are kept down do to the ne options on the market...like a yoshi in SS for $450.
You have something cool and interesting, but not something that will sell on beat and pay off your bike if that makes sense.
Personally I like RC stuff. Not really w drag guy myself and prefer the road race exhaust that has an up turn for clearance. RC had some great big bore kits bad magnetos.
