Rear hoop in Sydney?

I live in the coogee area in sydney and im looking to get a rear hoop bent and welded on for a decent price. Does anyone know a good workshop or even a friend who could do this for me?? Cheers elliot

Carrington Products in Riverstone will bend a custom tube for you. About $120 including material although a generic one off the Internet would probably be cheaper.

Welders everywhere, just find a buddy with one. I'm out west and could TIG it if you get one.

Ok turns out my room mate has a friend with a welder just need to track down a hoop. It is a smaller diameter tubing as its for a '77 ys250

I've bought mandrel bends off eBay and apparently he does custom stuff. Dirt cheap.

Just arrived today!

From Fastparts11 on eBay (based in the UK) about $50 delivered to Canberra. Measurements are dead on and comes with lugs to help weld on.

if you find someone can you let me know. I'm in sydney (alexandria/penshurst) as well and you go to a weld shop or metal fabber and the conversation goes "hey any chance you can do this for me or cut me some sheet metal for a tray", the response is "sure would love to but that is such a small piece of work that it's not worth my time"

Thanks for the tip on the throttle roll show. I should be heading there as well at some point during the day.
