Rear Set + Passenger Pegs...How?

Clamp on types are an accident waiting to happen. Look at the brackets on a Honda CB900, RZ350, or RD350LC for the general idea. I used RZ500 peg brackets on an RD400 with a couple of simple brackets to bolt them to. Make or adapt a simple plate to bolt onto teh frame that provides the mount for both pairs of pegs.

alright good to know..i might just throw a cafe seat on there and screw the two-up idea...we'll see.

OK let's back up a bit. CB200 has a plate on each side to hold the passenger pegs, Yes? Bolt them to the frame and then work out how to modify them to move the passenger pegs back and up slightly and to insert a place for the rider pegs. It will involve some cutting and grinding and welding in some new steel, but it's not complicated. You have ideas above to copy in terms of relative positions.

QUESTION FOR YOU ALL:

Just got my rearsets in, I'm messing around with the idea of mounting them on the front bolt on my CB200 to make room for doubles.

Thoughts?

Is this unsafe cause the front bolt is smaller?

I'll wait for responses while I eat my cold costco pizza yummm

That'll work. Doesn't seem all that practical. You're gonna get a mean game of footsie going.
