rear sets on the cheap

On my CB650 SOHC I swapped the foot pegs left to right which put them back about 8". Cost $.00

Hmmmmmmm... and the linkages all worked the same? Got a pic by any chance?

Gotta see if this is even possible with my bike, but thanks for the interesting idea. Way to think outside the box!

I used a pivot rod and a shift lever form a Yamaha XS400 many others can be easily adapted and bent the brake lever up and under the peg. Check on my build thread a gentlemans Cafe here on Big Arse Projects.
