Looking for suggestions of rear-sets for a 82 cb400t with out breaking the bank (if possible). Your ideas and suggetions are greatly appreciated.

hey a member on this site by the name durgam_k makes an excellent rear set kit ,at a very reasonable price . i have the same bike as you and i bought my rearsets from him, he has a kit that will have most everything you need .

You can pretty much do any modern rearset where the pivot is inline with the footpeg. It's not as pretty, but it's definitely a cheap and reliable solution. Then you just mount up where the passenger pegs used to be.
