Okay guys so i have an 81 cb650 and bought some new rear shocks. They are eye to Clevis style. On the Clevis end of the frame, the old metal/rubber bushings are fused to the frame(I'm assuming from rust). How in the world do I get them out to put the new bushings in. I'm getting a little frustrated at this point.

get a couple of sockets and a long bolt/nut and a few washers. put a socket thats the exact size of the bushing on one side, and a socket that is larger than the bushing on the other side. tighten it down and it will pop the bushing right out.

...or leave it be. Tidy it up with a bore brush to remove the cruft and lightly grease the bolt, ride on.
