I have been going through the manual and either Im not using it correctly or it doesn't show what I should torque the rear fixing bolts? (Sprocket to hub bolts) to. Did anyone need shims when eliminating the sprocket protector? Thanks
Often in the manuals you'll find a specifications page up near the front that gives torque specs for different size bolts. These are typically applied everywhere unless another spec is mentioned in the manual.
Thanks. I have a manual, is there more than one? Mine doesn't show anything about torque specs.
I just looked again, found them on page 80 on my manual. Oh well. Thanks for taking the time.
For sprocket bolts that likely have locking retaining washers, I usually just tighten them till I can't do much more with a standard socket ratchet. 'Tight is tight' usually works for me.
