rear sprocket play

Hey everybody,
This is my first post on this site but I've been following each thread since I've bought my Ace in april. I've done a lot of mods allready but got worried when reading about the rear sprocket play. I had the same problem so I decided to remove the bushings. A nice job indeed ??? In my enthousiasm I punctered the hole of the bushing with my chizzle, twice. So I now have two holes to my rear disk brake. Is this going to be a problem, you think?

Blew a rear tube (again) this is Number 3 in 12 months, never on any other bike had I have so many punctures!

Thought I'd take the opportunity to review my rear sproket bushes.

And they look OK, not sure what you guys are doing, or thrashing your ace to the 99th degree?

Just over 3,500km

Your bushes look great!

It seems that some Aces have better quality bushes than others, perhaps due to SkyTeam sourcing them from different suppliers.

Seems like real bad luck with the punctures. I didn't realise squishing cane toads could damage tyres!

Crazy

The casting for the rear hub is quite brittle!

It depends on how large the holes are and where they're placed whether trouble will follow. Do you have any photos?

Here's some pics of the damage to the hub. My main concern is grease and other stuff getting into the rear brake drum. Would it be wise to just seal the hole with silicone glue (like tec7, I don't know what the correct English word is). Or do I need to reinforce the hub somehow, or worst case scenario, replace the whole thing?
