rear wheel fender

I see a lot of bikes run without a rear fender and was wondering what the pros and cons are of each side? My battery will be under the seat so the frame will be open down there

Surprisingly, I agree with Swivel. I prefer to run fenders front and back. Unless your bike is just fo sho, then who cares.

i was actually thinking about attaching a fender to the swingarm kinda like what the modern sport bikes do..haven't seen anyone do it yet but it's pretty simple and would work great

On a cafe cb350 I built a few years ago, I cut a front fender in half and welded it to the stock tool box. Just enough coverage to keep the pods and my back dry/clean and you could barely see it.

Check out Ringos Gulf, he molded a hugger on his CB550 swinger out of CF and it turned out great.
