RearSet Positioning

Coast to Coast
Got some gixxer rearsets of eBay, was trying to figure out where they should sit.
I'm thinking this might be good, but wondering if it's too forward.
I'd of course need a longer bolt.....

I really like that look. Never thought about using some of those parts. Gives me more ideas.

I sat on it, ;D and I'm not sure it's very comfortable.
I have pretty long legs, and I think it would feel better further back.

I'll have to make up some brackets out of steel since I think it'd be pretty hard to weld aluminum to the frame....

I found the best recipe for rearset positioning was to gobike shopping with a tape measure, lol looking at a super sport or a sport touring and taking a pic or two with a few measurements will help you set things up, and also give you some confidence behind your decision

BTW take a soft cloth measureing tape so the sales staff wont be crapping there pants with you messing about with brand new bikes. If they ask just say im comparing riding position to a (whatever bike pops into your head)
