Reassebly of Forks/Front Brake help

I just put my forks back on and was in the process of putting on the front wheel when I noticed the disc brake did not want to slide back between the two pads. I've tried separating the two pads with a flathead but still haven't gotten it back on.

Any suggestions on how I can get this back in? I did not touch the brake lever while the wheel was off so it should be in the same state as when I removed it this morning

Make sure there weren't spacers or washers or anything that would cause the rotor to move over enough to be centered in the pads. Maybe you missed something or forgot to put on?

I ended up getting it. Not sure what the deal was but I just bled it and loosened the bolts. New fluids wont hurt!
