Rebuilding carbs without removing from rack

Going to rebuild my barn find cb360 carbs. Going to reuse all hard parts and use just new o rings and gaskets.

Just want to be able to fire it up before stripping it apart for build.

Question is can I leave carbs on the rack to clean or should it be completely disassembled?

I think this depends on how bad your carbs are to start with. I have cleaned mine on the rack, but if you are going to boil in lemon juice like some people do, it may be hard to git it all in a pot. Unless that you deceide to do the ultra sonic carb bath. Otherwise you are fine leaving them on the rack.

Pull them off the bike, but they can be cleaned on the rack....It saves you from playing as much with the throttle linkage.....Don't forget the seals on the throttle shafts need to be oiled, and them throttle linkage needs to be clean and lubed.....
