Red Rims

crqcycles

Not a lot of cafe's down here in Mexico...
Hey guys! I was wondering......Is anyone running red rims? If so, I'd like to see some pics to finally make up my mind in whether to paint mine red or not.

My tank is going to be raw with clearcoat and almost every other accent of the bike black except for a few red things here and there i.e. rims, headlight lip and grips.

What do you think?

Cheers,

Juan Fco.

Cool to see such a huge difference in red rims with just 2 bikes.

Actually the one Carpy build inspired me to build my first cafe..... didn;t use the red rim;s though.

I don't know how to post pics on DTT. I recently built my first cafe. It has powdercoated red wheels, hub, headlight bucket. If you send me your email, I'd be glad to send you a few pics.

Right under the place you typed this message there is "attachments and other options" Click on the link (actual letters) and it opens up a "Attach:" menue where you can browse you pics and then double click on the thumbnail to attach it to your post. You won't see if you try to Preview but it will show when you Submit.
Otherwise host them out on the intewebz on a place like Photobucket or Flicker.

Sweeet!

I will definitely give red rims a try. Thanks for the response and keep the pics coming!

Forgot to upload the pics; but I did paint my rims red.
Have a look and tell me what do you think...

What does that mean kop? Did you like it?

I have a number of personal issues with motorcycles , but I'm working on that .
I meant what I said . Attention to detail really does pay off . Otherwise I wouldn't have said anything .
It's obvious that care , concern , talent , time , effort and a clear vision of what you wanted to accomplish appears in the photos .
Do I like it ? I wouldn't own it , I would not have built it , I have as I said issues , opinions , prejudices and honesty that won't allow me to go through these pages posting "nice build" or "sick bike dude" ..
In any build or modification the devil is in the details . You obviously know that . It's something you can not only take pride in but can pass on to others .
In the end , be happy with your creation , pass on what you have learned and most important , ride .
