Regulator/Rectifier - 1976 Honda CB360T

I was having some charging issues so I bought what I thought was the rectifier/regulator combo. It is a BBT Small Engine Parts product B16310. It says it fits KOH 4140309. When I ordered it, I thought I was getting the KOH 4140309S. I now fear that I got just the regulator perhaps. I installed it and when idling @1300 I'm getting a reading of 12.64 as I rev it it goes up a little and the more I hold the rev it falls towards zero. Any help? Is this normal? Electrical stuff is not a strong point for me.

Looks like the correct unit to me.

Which wires do you have connected to which pole?

I got it squared away. It was a grounding issue, then a short.

I shorted those a couple of times as well. Not a big fan.
