Remote Rear Brake Switch

Trying to get the stock brake light switch to work with the Raask rear-set seem like it was going to be a pain. Additionally, since I am going without side covers on this bike and wanted to keep as much of what is visible uncluttered I came up with this solution. I stole the rear brake cable and hardware off my sons bmx bike. I took the tabbed washer which comes with the rear-set, flattened it out, drilled it out and then twisted it per the attached pictures. Then I tapped it to accept the adjuster ferrule from the bike. Then I drilled the brake lever arm to accept the cable nut hardware. I routed the cable through the frame up to the frame area in the gas tank tunnel. ( I zipped tied it in place as this is just a mock-up for proof of concept.) When I take it back apart to finish the frame I will weld some tabs or come up with some more permanent solution. The switch could go just about anywhere. I used a heavy duty eyelet from the electrical isle- crimped it on the cable and then soldered it with a propane torch. Put the seat back on, checked it out and it works perfectly.
