Hey Guys, after ordering some bars and a seat I was kind of pumped and got to working on my bike! My goal is to make it as light as possible (No starter, fiberglass seat, detabbing, etc..) So after pulling out my battery box and all the air stuff here is where I am.

A mess I know. All I need to know is do I need the starter solenoid? And what do I connect the battery too if I don't?

Boy. I like that tank.

If you are not using the starter, the wiring that has to do with the starter gets bored. You can put it in a box.

The battery cable has a smaller bullet connector that serves to power the bike. The big strap to the solenoid can be eliminated. Make sure to leave a fuse.

Yea that tank is pretty darn good looking. Removed the starter didn't know it was so heavy! Easy way to shed 5 pounds. Thanks.

I just put K&Ns on. Will rejet once I get the bike back together. Just moved so half of the bike is in my room....
