Swagger
Putting boot to ass since 1967!
Ya know....something occurred to me the other day and I'm sure it's rattled it's way into other people's brains. My 96 Triumph SuperIII (Factory hotrod, Cosworth powered Daytona 900) has a removable cowl over the rear portion of the seat.
Why not work something like this up for a Cafe project bike?
I'm getting ready to start another bike, it's a CB500T that will eventually be the one my lady rides since the SuperIII and the SprintST are both too high for her (She's 5'2" on a good day...hehehe) and she hates anything that looks remotely like a cruiser.
Anyway thus far the plan is to use the stock Seatpan as many here have done with the stock foam shaved down, may add a 3/4" layer or closed cell high density foam from a work mat I have laying around, then have the whole thing re-upholstered with leopard print marine vinyl. I'll use the rear of the stock tank and work up the cowl, use Dzur fasteners to hold it in place.
Thoughts?
