Removing shock caps?

Alright, I'm trying to remove the metal cap things on the top end of the shocks, I took one of the shocks off and couldn't figure it out, instead of banging on them i figured it be best to post on here before i break something. Does anyone have an idea?

Can't really see from the pic, but there should be some sort of keeper at the top of the shock. You'll have to compress the spring first, then the bucket/cover will slide down enough to reveal/remove the keeper. Once the keeper is out the cover and spring can be removed from the shock body.
