most importantly...Aluminum and stainless are the worst about galling.
anti seize OR purple locktight OR...I use Real Tuff teflon thread sealant. $5 bucks a jar and its enough to last a lifetime. Its not anti seize and its not lock tight. It never dries. And its resistant to higher temps than other "automotive" brand teflon thread sealants. Never had a bolt loosen up or stick.

Torque all bolts to "lubricated" specs. The lower # on the torque spec sheet.

Two of the bolts holding the valve cover on won't budge. I think I broke my cheap HF ratchet on one of them. I've spent the past three days trying to get them to budge. Should I try heat next?

You can also drill the heads off with a 1/4" drill bit and then get a vice grip onto the remainder of the screw after the case comes off.

Craftsman impact screw driver. AND not the cheap $14 dollar one. The one worth its weight.

I got one bolt loose, now the last one managed to break another ratchet AND a bolt screwdriver thing. It's in a hard to reach spot so unless I pull the engine I can't get an impact driver to get to it. I bought a small torch from Harbor Freight and it barely warms the bolt head but it's melting the plastic wire covers. I need someone with a real torch to get it hot, I guess.

Still working on that bolt. I was going to work on it today, since I'm still unemployed, but the rain is coming down in buckets and there's not enough room for me to maneuver here. That said, I talked to a mechanic at the British and European Bike Show yesterday, he suggested a couple of other things to look at while I'm messing with that valve cover bolt. I'm going to pull the starter out and see if that does anything. I might delete it anyway, it doesn't work so well now.

can you get a pair of channel locks on it ?

No, the bolt is in a position where anything wider than the bolt head is not really going to fit. I can barely get a 12mm wrench in there.
