Resurrected GN400 Brat, first build.

Thanks! Yes i am currently working on the CH250 set up and I just got some info that broke it wide open. I will be re configuring this soon and if all goes well i can make up a wiring diagram to show you exactly what needs to be done. Have you joined the GN400 yahoo group? lots of great knowledgeable people and a plethora of hard to find files including pdf maintenance manuals. i would recommend joining if you haven't yet.

Thanks to the Help of a very Generous Cheesehead, i have the Honda cdi and coil set up working perfectly. Starts right up first or second kick every time. (even in the 10 and under degree weather i'm currently having)
got the exhaust wrapped and installed, im finishing up the seat install later this week, fitting and fabbing a small electronics tray before tearing it down to the frame to refinish it.

Cool, how long are the rear shocks and how much did you drop the forks to get this stance?

Thanks, the rear shocks are from a dyna sportster, I think they're 13.5" I lowered the forks 2" internally and raised them in the triples about an inch for the clip ons.

Alright, thanks. Any notable differences in handling so far?

None what so ever (bike didn't run when I bought it) The only time I rode it was that 11 second video up there... If you go to This thread

i got a lot of inspiration from him and he has videos and stuff of him riding and he says it handles great. i lowered the forks about the same amount as he did.

Saw the build on BikeEXIF but didn't know he had a thread over here. Thanks!

still not done with this. ( I bought a house...tends to put a damper on any and all other projects ) I am finally getting back into this. I have a bunch of new parts in the mail. I have decided to convert the lighting circus over to 12v instead of the stock 6v. This will give me a lot more options for LED lighting. I will keep you all updated.
