Awesome job so far!!! Love the color, seat, and shortened frame. Exhaust looks killer too. I love those shorty mufflers, they will hopefully be going on my latest project.

Any forseen danger with your exhaust blowing directly on your back tire? Or did I miss something? You could always just fab a small angle in the headers do your mufflers shoot just outside of the tire.

I was thinking the exact same thing. With water/gasoline/crap coming out the exhaust and getting on the tire as well as heat maybe? Not sure how directly any of those would truly affect it but I hope someone with first hand knowledge or experience has something to say. It does look pretty cool though ;) and I do indeed love that color. Well done sir.

i'd cut a little notch out of the sides of the headers just before the cans to angle them out a bit. i too am not a fan of exhaust blowing right onto the tire. i'm a fan of under-engine exhausts (a la buell)... just not blowing right on the tire.

The exhaust had 90 degree bends added to the tips so they wouldn't blow directly onto the tire. Here are the latest photos with the paint, wrap, and new tips.

FINISHED!! I will have to get some glamour shots soon. It would be an honor to even be considered to be bike of the month although I'm not sure I could compete with the likes of "Willow" and some other bikes.

Love it!!! That is a sick looking bike. Definitely one of the better all around 360's out there. Excellent work man. I really like the black mufflers. Congrats!

I think if I saw your's and CafePete's bikes together, I would crap my pants. hahahaha

Any advice on how to keep the points from grounding on the points cover? I even tried to plasti-dip the inside of the cover and I am still having trouble with the left cylinder grounding out only when the cover is on.

Simple, fab up some carbon fiber covers.

Honestly, I have no idea, never had a problem like that before

Looking really good man. I like all the fab work you have done. Did you bend the rear set parts?

Cheap and cheezy, but worked on my cb350. I just cleaned the inside of the cover and slapped some electrical tape on it, held up for as long as I had the bike.

What part of the rear sets are you speaking of?

I think I may end up making a spacer out of some bakelite I have laying around and get some longer hardware for it. I'll probably just end up tracing the gasket and cutting it out.

Hey what mufflers are you running? Forgive me if I missed where you got them... I took another look but didn't find the source.

The mounts that you used.
The rear sets are mounted through the pre-existing passenger peg holes. No other modifications were required to fit the sets themselves. I hope that answers your question.
