Roll Call - Ohio

locOleoN

Is that the best you got? OK.. now my TURN...
Where abouts in Ohio is everyone from?
If there is enough committment, would you guys be interested in Ohio DoTheTon patch?

Another Columbusite (Columbuser?) not sure what the hell we call ourselves in Columbus. I think I could come up with a few people (maybe 10 or so) that would interested. I'll ask around at our CO-OH Vinmoto meeting tonight and see what kind of feedback I get. What kind of pricing are we talking?

Hey,

I'll leave it to Heidi to work out the details but its about $12/patch and to do a special run batch, we would need a confirmed order to 30 units at minimum...

Now the generic 4 inch patch is $10 and can be bought at the "Shop@DoTheTon.com" tab at the top and anyone could just order them at any time.

Cheers

Yeh, I might roll through there tonight for a minute, if it's not too wet/cold. I could probably vouch for 5 patches. I dont think selling 30 would be a problem, although $12 is a bit steep.

Been lurking, finally joined today, know a few of you guys from the XS650 Garage. I'm in North Olmsted-suburb of Cleveland. Would probably be interested in a patch. I joined as I have decided to convert my basically stock '76 XS650 into a real Brit style cafe. If it isn't needed, it's comin' off! Was thinking of buying a seat from Hotwings, but after seeing some of the low buck efforts here will probably try making my own. I'll post as I get the project going.

Look forward to stopping in when I have time, Matt

hey guys

there is already an ohio based logo on my cafepress site:

http://www.cafepress.com/dtt_ohio
it's a print on demand site - so you see it and want it ...you buy it and they make and ship to you!

as for the patch, the higher price is because of low quantities. even 50 is considered 'low' to patch manufacturers.

cheers

Welcome Matt. I'm in Westlake. I think that the Cleveland syndicate just grew by about 25%. Post some pics of your scoot. I love those XS bikes!

Kuy,

I added the link to photobucket in my signature. Hopefully by spring the 650 will have a set of clabmans and be dashless. Going to goto a bicycle speedo and just the minimum warning lights mounted directly in the head light bucket. I also plan on making my own hump back seat. Been thinking of trying to go vintage racing with it in AHRMA. We'll have to hook up in the spring and get something going in the Cleveland area.

Originally from youngstown but currently in Columbus. Working on a 72 Cb450 will be going "cafe" with it. Hope to have it done before the weather breaks.
