Rolling sheetmetal at home...

I need to put a curve in some 20 ga. sheetmetal and don't have a rollformer. I seached the site and didn't come up with anything. What are some of your experiences?

My workbench top is a stainless industrial kitchen worktop (think butchers table). It has a rounded edge on it and I think if I am careful I can bend it by hand on that edge.

What have you guys done?

PVC pipe, Paint cans, 5Gal buckets...I've even used a chunk of telephone pole I had laying around.

the sheetmetal is fairly cheap so I won't be heartbroken if I screw it up.

I don't have much experience at all but I needed a sharp edge and I put some heat to it. Worked well and made the bend easy.
