I had to make some repairs to the paint on my gas tank over the winter so while I was at it I made a couple more mods. Here is the bike after my first resto that i finished last spring:

I didn't mean to leave this post hanging, but I had computer problems while tying to upload last night and didn't realize it actually uploaded. anyway here are some after pictures. New paint, new norman hyde bars, new exhaust and a new taillight. I wanted something more true to the Honda heritage and I thought the Nortonesqe decals were a little tacky-found these wing emblems online. As much as i loved the look of the clubmans, it killed my hands to ride more than 30 min or so.

Nice work, new paint 100x better, love those little honda emblems, I want something similar to put on my GL.

When a customized bike looks like it could have rolled out of the factory you know you've nailed it. Nice scoot. How do you like the Norman Hyde bars? I'm using them on my SR500 project but haven't ridden with them yet.

thanks Tim, all my projects somehow end up looking stock enough to bring back memories yet I like to modify stuff just to make it different. I love the Norman Hyde bars the angle back makes them so much more comfortable- the problem with the clubmans was not the low position as you might think but the backwards bend it put on my wrists.
