As in unable to be ridden hot. That seat must get 200+ degrees.
I had a 2004 factory and it ran hot with a stock rad that was three times as large as the under seat one shown.
Very cool concept, but I just can't believe that that bike will be able to be used.

Sounds like you had a lemon or a partially plugged radiator core. The one in the shop here never gets above 205* even mercilessly flogger in the depth of summer. Also, just because the radiator has a different shape doesn't mean that it's lacking for surface area. As well, if the fans are aggressive enough I doubt it's a huge issue.
