Sacramento chopper

Whats up?, my name is P.J. I picked up a 74 honda cb 450 about 6 months ago for a whopping 60 bucks on craigslist. It was a parts bike that some dude needed gone from his yard. Looking for a new project and trying not to break the bank I figured what the hell, worse comes to worse i got at least $60 in scrap metal. Well the bike was in grim condition, half of everything was gone, except the motor was in tact. After kicking it through a few times watching water spit out the exhaust valves, I new that this was just the challenge needed.
My history with bikes is sorta brief, been riding dirt bikes for a long time. This will be my second full build for myself. My first was an evo chopper, now ive decided to go metric. Im a certified welder and work as a mechanic for a production plant. Here is a few pics of my build so far, more to come.......

Hey man, welcome to your new home! You're gonna fit in good. Glad to hear you are over that little stint. Got any more pics of that bike?

Welcome.
The lines and proportions of your frame look spot on. I am really looking forward to seeing your project as it proceeds.
I am also a welder. Handy with a hobby such as ours. ;D

wlcome to the forum P.J. Man that is gonna be one bad ass ride when you get done!! Keep us posted!

Welcome to the site! Thats one of the nicest Honda rigid frame conversions Ive ever seen. Very cool man. Want to do one on a fucked up cb360 frame? :D

Thanks for the welcome. I really dig this site. Ill be posting more pics later this week of the new mid controls, rear brake pedal, bars and faux starter housing. Just waiting on some exhaust flanges, fork seals and a couple other b.s. ebay parts.

PJ, welcome man.

really nice build, what type of rear section is that, would be interested in doing this to my 500. still on the fence with a brat or a ridged.
with this, leaning tawards the ridged.
if you could tell me what type and where i might find a rear section for a cb500 that would be great.
any way, cool build. keep us posted.
later
